The English subtitle for the famous Hindi movie "Ajab Gazabb Love" was written by the unknown author A.S. Pritchett on Wikipedia under name Anurag Kashyap. This has been a topic of debate among the Hindi movie buffs ever since this happened, but it is true that nobody knows who can be attributed to being the original author. After finding out about the English subtitle, I did some research on the movie and came to know that it was written by Anurag Kashyap. The movie was released in 2010 and it has garnered many accolades.The original Hindi Title of the movie is "Ajab Gazabb Love". There are two ways of reading this title - 'Ajab' can be interpreted as 'my heart' (in Hindi) or simply translated as 'Love'. Hence, the title itself can be translated into English as either "My Heart's Love" or "The Heart's Love". There is also another version of the title in which "Gazabb" can be interpreted as nazar (soul). There are no official English subtitles for the Hindi version, but some funny ones. The movie itself is a romantic movie, so I was hoping for an "Ajab" to become 'Ajab nazar' i.e. 'The Heart's Love'. But it did not happen :) I still think both "Ajab" and "Gazabb" are good titles :)The original Hindi title of this movie is "Chhoti Si Baat" which means "Small Talk". The English subtitle was designed by Anurag Kashyap himself, and it turns out to be a very nice one. The original Hindi title of this movie is "Thenmazha". The English subtitle was written by Anurag Kashyap as well.The original Hindi title of this movie is "Dil Se.." which translates as "Between Me and You". The English subtitle was written by Pritchett himself.Gulf News described the movie as a 'sweet romance' and described the English subtitle as a 'charming take'. The Times of India gave a 3/5 rating to the movie and called it a classy rom-com. Vogue magazine loved the way Kashyap made use of subtitles in the film. The magazine also called the film 'insanely funny'. The TV channel, Asianet Movies even had an online poll where viewers voted for their favourite Languages for subtitles on this movie. The favorite was Chinese followed by Malaysian. Online sources are divided between those who think that Kashyap himself wrote the English subtitle of the movie and those who believe that his script was translated into English by someone else. I am of the view that Kashyap himself wrote it. The movie was released on 13th December 2015 to a great opening weekend, including strong reviews from critics and viewers alike. cfa1e77820
